OUR STORY

Saint Maide was born one bleary-eyed night in early 2020, founded by Tennessee “Tenny” Jane, who felt drawn to the unique nature of dried flowers, wanting to celebrate their beauty long after others would have discarded them.

After nearly a decade working in fashion + marketing for brands like QUAY, Isaac Mizrahi and J BRAND, and studying Art History at The New School in NYC, she had the idea to start Saint Maide, not only as a way to reimagine the creative possibilities for dried flowers but to also reclaim her creativity and sense of agency as an artist that had gotten lost in the corporate hustle.

By offering custom commissioned pieces and installations for residential and commercial clients alike, Saint Maide enters a new, artist-led era of providing elevated and evocative, long-lasting dried floral designs.

APPROACH + ETHOS

Working exclusively with dried and preserved flowers already makes us different but what sets us apart is the intention behind each piece.

We work by the following values:

To reimagine the creative possibilities for dried flowers is to give them a second life.

To see the value in materials that others would have discarded opens our own eyes to the potential in our work and ourselves.

To elevate the pieces we design beyond just ephemeral into evocative pieces of art and decor.
